Consistency.

If I told you consistency was keeping you from achieving your goal, would you believe me?

What is it about consistency that destines us for failure? Well for one, it's not something that can be done once. You have to do it multiple times over, to at one point, become habit forming.

Consistency is something you build, it can’t be done overnight. Therefore, you want to start with a strong foundation of realistic, maintainable goals that create positive reinforcement. Believe me yet? It's simple, but not easy.

Examples:

- Morning or nightly walks, walking the dog

- Weekend hikes with family

- Getting in the gym once or twice a week

- Taking the stairs

Each of us, is at a different place in life, choose something that is challenging but attainable. It's never too late or too soon to pave a new path.

Don’t make the mistake of trying to create major change overnight. Chances are, you fall short because you're not giving yourself a fair shot. Too often we get impatient with our journey.

  • I struggled with consistency prior working out with you. I was bored with my workout routine, and seen little results. There was no motivation to go to the gym, because i seen little results. The last two months, I have continued to be more consistent with exercise. Although i was completely out of my element, changing my diet and introducing free weights. I am now seeing changes in my body that I have never seen before. Working out has now become part of my daily schedule, more of a habit. Someone somewhere said " results come from what you consistently not occasionally.
